Alokasi Frekuensi Lora – Lora merupakan suatu platform komunikasi Low Power Wide Daerah Network (Lpwan) yang memiliki kemampuan transmisi jarak jauh yang didukung pengembangannya oleh Ibm, Semtech, Actility, dll, yang tergabung dalam Lora Alliance.

Secara saintifik, Lora merupakan proses perubahan sebuah gelombang periodik tertentu sehingga jadi sebuah frekuwensi yang bisa membawa sebuah berita. Perubahan gelombang ini teratur dan berulang-ulang yang punya sumber berupa gangguan yang bertahap atau secara bertahap yang berupa getaran.

Nah, Proses perubahan sebuah gelombang periodik tersebut disebut modulasi. Modulasi yang dihasilkan pada Lo-Ra menggunakan modulasi Fm. Dengan modulasi itu, biasanya kabar berfrekuensi rendah bisa dimasukkan ke di dalam sebuah gelombang pembawa.

Pada pemrosesan intinya (Modulasi) dihasilkan gelombang frekuensi yang stabil. Teknologi Lora menawarkan jangka panjang yang benar-benar menarik. Salah satunya adalah Lora menggunakan daya yang rendah dan perpindahan information yang terjamin keamanannya.

Jaringan publik yang menggunakan jaringan Lora biasanya bisa memberi tambahan jangkauan frekuwensi yag lebih luas dibanding jaringan seluler pada umumnya. Sebagian device yang menopang Teknologi Lora adalah Antenna Eksternal, Port Usb, Network Adapter, Router, Server, Kabel Jaringan, Komputer Device, Access Point dan Modem.

Sedangkan Lorawan merupakan suatu protokol jaringan bawaan yang digunakan untuk platform komunikasi terhadap device Lora. Protokol Lorawan sedari awal didesain sehingga LPWAN bisa bekerja dari jarak yang jauh, ekonomis biaya, rendah daya, skalabilitas tinggi, dan Qos (Quality of service).

Lorawan mempunyai kemampuan enkripsi informasi untuk membangun jaringan wireless yang aman. Spesifikasi Lorawan mempunyai sifat open source dan telah di dukung oleh Lora Alliance. Tak sekedar kemampuan enkripsi information, Lorawan punya kemampuan seperti adaptive knowledge rate optimisation (Adr), Quality of Service (Qos), dll.

Alokasi Frekuensi Lorawan di Bermacam Negara

Jika ingin menggunakan Lorawan dalam membangun suatu proyek, dapat menggunakan Mikrokontroler Mappi32 berasal dari perusahan penyedia yang frekuensinya support untuk pemanfaatan Lorawan dipakai di Indonesia.

Saat ini, regulasi perihal Frekuensi LPWA Lora di Indonesia berada pada range frekuensi 920- 923 Mhz. Implementasi Lorawan terhadap Smart City Teknologi Internet of Things memegang peranan erat di dalam pengembangan ‘Smart City’ atau Kota Cerdas.

Lora digunakan di dalam komunikasi M2m (Machine to Machine). Contonya untuk mengembangkan Smart City. Dengan Lora maka sensor-sensor akan mudah dihubungkan  dengan manusia atau mesin dimana saja.

Smart city tidak hanya berbicara perihal akses broadband dengan internet berkecepatan tinggi saja. Perangkat sensor maupun aktuator berdaya dan berkecepatan rendah tapi benar-benar portable dan murah dan juga bida dipasang dimanapun  dengan daya tahan batere amat lama (Ubikuiti), adalah tren baru yang berkembang benar-benar pesat  dengan istilah LPWAN (Low Power Wide Daerah Network).

Penerapan Smart City pun sangat luas. Lebih dari satu penerapan LPWAN pada Smart City adalah seperti:  Lampu jalan yang bisa diprogram hidup, mati, intensitas, dan kondisinya; Instalasi air higienis, gas, dan listrik yang bisa berkomunikasi dua arah  dengan mengirimkan standing dan mengontrol penggunaan.

Tak sekedar tersebut, punya kemampuan Smart Grid sebagai berikut: Tingkatkan efisiensi daya Lampu lalu lintas sehingga menyesuaikan suasana stagnasi secara adaptif, Monitor truk sampah berdasar posisi dan isinya Berisi info dini pada cuaca, kecelakaan, dan masalah Transparansi kabar  dari dan ke penduduk.

Itulah sedikit penjelasan terkait Lora. Banyak yang masih tidak mengetahui. Tapi bagi mahasiswa yang mencintai dunia tehnologi, hal ini merupakan salah satu yang dicintainya. Dan buat yang masih ingin belajar, semoga info ini bermanfaat!
